WORK WORK WORK
Tommy finished the molding on the front porch today. He bent a lot more pieces of azek for around the large window over the front door. He put all the molding on the front triangular part and finished up with some moldings on the curve. It came out awesome.
Tom's dad finished up the front stairs... They also look awesome.
I grouted the fireplace where I added the stone on Thursday. And then I grouted the rest of the walls in the master bathroom...
We got a lot done today!
This morning there as was a REMAX hot air balloon in the backyard... seemed pretty low... I love it how Hooper is scared of them. The "dragon" sound they make from the propane torch scares the crap out of him and he runs in the house and all the way upstairs... my poor baby...

FRONT RAILING POSTS
Today Tom and his dad worked on the stair railing on the front porch. They drilled holes in the stairs with the hilti drill. Then they took stainless steel tubing and put it into the holes with the quick drying concrete.

Tommy got a little bit more work done on the front porch this morning and here is finally a picture of the front porch with the corbels.

I worked on the fireplace. I finished the rest of the rock that we didn't finish last night. Then Tom's mom took the rest of the rock outside and put it in the boxes to clean up the family room floor. Meanwhile I laid some of the tile in the master bathroom shower.

Porch Railing
Today Tom's dad put the worked on the railing on the side porch. We did not pick out the "easiest" railing for him to install. It is a pvc railing, so typically they have those little cups for the top and bottom rail to fit into... not this one you have to cut the railing to the EXACT length or it will look terrible. Have to say the old man did a good job! Love the railing and the posts!!!
When we got home we mixed up a batch of mortar and worked on the fireplace stone a little more since it was raining outside... we are almost done, but it is a lot harder to do then it was outside.
