LOWES TRIPS

We spend the day going back and forth to the Hillsborough LOWES to pick up 4 more pallets of the block walls that we are going to use outside the walkout basement. The LOWES in Flemington only had SEVEN blocks, so we hooked up the trailer and got two pallets at a time. It was quite a pain as we had to offload the first set and then drive all the way back. But we have all that we will need now!

The rest of the day we worked on getting the area ready. Tommy dug out to slope the ground toward the stream and cleaned up the hills so that we have a flat spot to be able to start the wall. Then we re-dug the trench for the "to daylight" french drain pipes so that we could put the pipes from the gutters on the front of the house into that trench.

Later that night we went back to edison and picked up the compactor and truck so that we can pick up material and start working on the wall tomorrow!
